I cannot get the crop tool, in by hand mode to operate smoothly, there is no fine control, it wants to keep jumping in increments and I cannot get close to what I really want to crop. Im stumped..any ideas anyone?

Up until recently (perhaps the last Acrobat update?) I've always been able to "fine control" the crop tool to select exactly what I want. I'm now having the same problem as vmoore in that the crop tool seems to be snapping to some invisible grid. How can I turn this off? Acrobat 9.4.1 on Windows

I've found the answer. In some recent Acrobat update, the programmers must have reset the default for View>Snap to Grid to an ON position. Turn off that selection and everything works just as it used to.
