watermark

Why is "Apply Print Overrides" required to print watermark? Thumbnail view in Print dialog shows watermark, however I can't get it to print unless I first select "Apply Print Overrides" in the layers options tab. This is not a layered PDF...so I believe. My watermark is a PDF set only to appear on a print.

Acrobat automatically places Watermarks, backgrounds, headers, and footers on a layer. When you add these things to your PDF, it becomes a layered PDF. But it should be setting them to Always print.

It appears that Acrobat may be setting things up incorrectly, or the Layer visibility has somehow been forced to off. Can you post the document somewhere I could download it from so I can take a closer look.

I have been adding watermarks, clicking "save setting," but the settings WILL NOT save. This is happening on graphic as well as text watermarks. Any suggestions? It's so time consuming to keep adding the watermarks!

Thanks.
