What to save? (Urgent)

My publisher has sent me a pdf of my novel to send out for reviews. I want to save it so that I can attach it to my Yahoo mail to send out for reviews. However, on my drop down menu I see three options: Save a Copy, Save as Text (not an option since cover art is part of pdf), and Create a pdf using acrobat.
All I want to do is save this pdf so that I can attach it to Yahoo mail. Which of these options do I use to simply save the document? Any immediate help would be great. Oh, and I am using MS 2007 with 2003 compatiblity, if that makes a difference.
Kindly make the explanation as simple as possible.
thanks,
Patti

Acrobat Standard 9.1.3, Windows

You could save the attachment without opening it, or you can use the 'Save as ...' and specify the location where you want to save the file and specify the name you want to give to the file.

Yes, that's exactly what I want to do. However that plain old choice does not appear that I can see. As I said, I have the three options. Save as text, save a copy (is this the one you mean?), or Create a pdf with Adobe acrobat. Which one is the choice that i can use to just save this as a document, the normal usual way? I do not want to lose or screw up this pdf since now is the weekend and I cannot ask my publisher for another advanced reader copy (ARC) until next week and I do not have time to be working on another one since my release date is November 1. :D

How did he send it to you?

Was it on a DVD/CD?

If an email, have you downloaded or saved the attachment to your local system?

You need a copy of the PDF on your local system and not attached in an email. You can the use the copy of the PDF on your local system to attach to the email you will send out.

Your options sound like they are for processing the sent email and not the attachment.

It was an email but you have answered the question perhaps unknowingly. I downloaded the pdf and saving it was the question. You have said I need a "copy" and that answered the question of which option to use. One of the save options was "Save as copy". So that is the answer. Thank you for taking the time to help me. I do appreciate it!
