In Acrobat 6.0, I was able to create a text block that would cover over existing text, thereby "whiting it out." I can't seem to do that in 8.0. Any suggestions?

Use the Text Box tool (Comment & Markup toolbar). You can adjust background fills and text color in the Properties Bar.ted

I have Acrobat 7.0. You can use the Cloud tool under Tools/Drawing Markups/Cloud Tool. You can white out anything you want in pretty much any shape by selecting white as the color and white for the lines. The catch is to be sure to select Documents and Markups from the Print box so that they print out.

Also, Whatever is marked out will still be visible to the user of the .pdf.
