I am having trouble downloading PDF documents on some sites (Gas Board is one), it says cannot download please retry, I have Acrobat X and windows 7 64 bit.
 
Please can anybody come to my rescue.

Acrobat Standard 10.1, Windows

Have you contacted the Gas Board about this issue?

Have you tried a different web browser or different computer?

yes have contacted the Gas board, they didn't know why said get in contact with Acrobat but it also happens on the Aviva site for my insurance documents,
I did try on a friends laptop, they have windows Vista, also Acrobat X and that downloaded fine, haven't tried a different web browser as not too sure how to go about doing that,
