Please tell me how to setup an auto-save in Adobe Acrobat Professional 8...working in Livecycle...windows error causes crash...loosing work on time-sensitive project is BIG ouch! Thanks
First, you should understand that Acrobat 8 Professional and LiveCycle Designer are two completely separate programs. Yes, they come in the same box, but they are separate entities with different User Interface options. This is a common source of confusion regarding these two products. In Acrobat 8 Professional you can set a time interval for saving a file while working on it in Edit ->Preferences -> General- "Automatically Save Document Changes to Temporary file every X minutes." Unfortunately, LiveCycle Designer does not have an incremental save feature. You can go to Tools ->Options and check the box "Create Backup on Save," but that is about it. The best you can do is make it a practice to do frequent incremental saves manually.Hope that helps,
