Browse for file and file path

I have a form that needs a button to browse for an image. A thumbnail of the image will need to be embedded into the pdf (within a box or otherwise; but must be constrained to a specific size, TBD). I also need the path to the image stored/displayed in a separate field.

The purpose is for the user to visually see the image they have selected and then for a second user to export xml data (the image file path) for InDesign to place an image into a template.

I am using Acrobat 8, InDesign CS3, and I have access to LiveCycle designer ES though limited knowledge. Also, must work cross platform (windows & mac)

Whatever help would be appreciated, full explanation or just a point in the right direction.

Thanks!

You'll have to use an image field with a form you create in LiveCycle Designer. You'll have to get more familiar with LiveCycle Designer, so begin with its help documents and other documentation that get installed with it.

Thanks George.

I'll see how far I can get within LiveCycle with the tutorials and post again if (more like when) I get stuck.
