Calculations in 8.0

I am new to Adobe Professional 8.0 and am exploring converting various types of forms throughout our organization. As a test, I have converted some from existing Excel forms, and it has been very simple, however when I edit in lifecycle designer, it does not have calculate tab. I believe I read somewhere that it should be edited in Acrobat, but I don't believe that is possible once it has been saved in lifecycle. Is that true? IF so, how can I perform calculations in lifecycle, or how can I avoid this in the future?

Thanks in advance,

Nat

You are correct in that Designer does not have a calculate tab. Instead, you use a simple language called FormCalc for calculations.

See Designer Help for information on calculations using FormCalc.
