Combo Box Dilemma - Increasing a Value Due to Combo Box Value Selected

I have several Combo Boxes that contain Values 1 through 5.
I want to create a variable that will hold the total of the valueschosen from the Combo Boxes. I have seen many examples that change the text value of another Combo Box or Text Field, but nothing that does this.
Any suggestions?

This is a simple addition. Add a calculation to the field that will hold the sum. No need to use JavaScript for this.
