I was really hoping someone can answer my question. I have to redo the form (originally made in Adobe LiveCycle) in Adobe Acrobat Professional 8. I prefere to do it in Adobe Professional because I am more familiar with java script and it environment. One of the problems I have is a 'date/time field' which in Adobe LiveCycle adds in a calendar that date can be selected from. Is this option available in Acrobat Professional 8, I can't find it.

Also, is it possible to convert acrobat to live cycle or vice versa?

No, but there has been a big piece of code that uses 30 some fields to create a pop-up calendar from which the date can be sleected and entered into the field associated with the contorl button for the date field in question.
