Hot Folder Automation for preflighting

Hi everyone, I am a fairly new user in acrobat. My question is that i want to implement a hot folder concept for preflighting files using acrobat's in built preflight mechanisem. How do i go about doing it?Can anyone lend me a hand with some sample scripts?

Acrobat doesn't support hot folders for preflighting, but it does support "droplets" (as of Acrobat 8).
