Its pretty much all in the title, I need to access an activeX component via JavaScript and i don't know how to do it. I tried:

var dmObj = new ActiveXObject(ObjectName);

but i get an error message. Google does not like me too, cause all i can find is activeX access of pfd's through IE, and that's not what i need.

This forum is for questions on Acrobat JavaScript. And in Acrobat JavaScript you cannot access an ActiveX object.

Actually you can't do this directly in HTML JS either because HTML is platform independent. How exactly is this HTML supposed to render in Safari? You need to do it indirectly through the Object tag.
