JavaScript created in Acrobat Pro 7 doesn't work in Acrobat Pro 9

I have some simple JavaScript that was created in Acrobat Pro 7 and saved into a PDF file.
This script file works fine in Acrobat Pro 7 but doesn't work in Acrobat Pro 9.
Looking at the features of Acrobat Pro 9 it seems unclear as to whether JavaScript is supported in Acrobat Pro 9 or whether you need Acrobat Pro 9 Extended version.
Any clues greatly appreciated.

Nick.

JavaScript works in all versions of Acrobat 9, including Reader, provided it's enabled in the preferences.
Check that, and if it still doesn't work, post your code here.

You may need to check the JS API Reference for version 9 to see what changes have been made to Acrobat JavaScript as used by Acrobat 9.

I have enabled Javascript and the script now executes.
It's not behaving as it did in V7.0 so I may be posting more queries yet.

Thanks for the responses.
