Need help with fill color

Can someone show me a script that "on focus" changes the color in my form fields? What I'm trying to do is when a user tabs to each field on a form, it will become yellow, then when they leave that field, it changes back to white and the next field becomes yellow.

Thanks Thom for your link. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the code to work properly. It changed my border to blue, but I never did get any fill color and the text was brown. I'm very new at javascript so I may need more clarification. Secondly, my objective is to get my field to change fill color when it receives focus (such as when I tab to the field), but then go back to white after I leave the field and then text2 would change when it receives focus and go back to white after leaving text2 and so on to each of my text fields.
