No more OCX object?

Prior to version 8 there was always a OCX activeX object (part of the IE integration) that we used in applications (Access & Paradox) to display PDF's with in the application's native forms - I do not see this OCX is v8. Is it gone? Is there a way replace the functionality with out moving away from the Acrobat software for managing our PDF's?

Acrobat 8 contains the same ActiveX control (well in terms of name and API) that Acrobat 7 did - AcroPDF.dll.

Acrobat 7, however, introduced a TOTALLY DIFFERENT version of the ActiveX than all versions before it.

Acrobat 6 and earlier did NOT have an officially supported ActiveX control. If you used that, well...

So depending on what version you came from will depend on what your issue may be.
