I am preflighting PDFs for bookmarks. I would love to automate the process. Is there a hot folder or script that can check pdfs bookmarks and note the names of the bookmarks inside?

Hi Brian68,

You could use the droplet feature of Acrobat preflight - literally just drag and drag and the preflght checks are made. If you want more automation you could use PDFInspektorCLI from callas software - they work together with Adobe to build the preflight functionality in Acrobat ...

Hope this helps?

Jon

I've been using Acrobat since v1.0 and still get amazed by its power. An Acrobat ACE since 1999

Thanks Jon, I have worked with this on Friday Sept 21st and still had troubles. My needs are to "drag-and-drop or such" PDF files and receive a return report that gives a BookMarked usage and the bookmark names applied inside the pdf file. example: Bookmarks used (Yes or No), if yes (page1-Cover, page4-Copyright, page7-contents)...
