I am using Adobe Designer and would like to achiev the following based on the sample dynamic intercative Purchase Order form included in the software:
1. A state is populated in the combo, based on the country selected (this functionality is in the current form). In addition, I would like to populate a third text field with a description related to the state that gets populated.

I am not a scripter and no matter how I twisted the code I could not achieve this.

Any help would be appreciated, either to start from scratch or build over the existing code. Thks.

It's difficult to answer the question without seeing the form and it's a bit beyond the scope of this column. For answers related to scripting in Designer, look in your Adobe|Acrobat 8.0|Designer 8.0|Documentation|EN folder and open the FormCalc.pdf document in Acrobat. This PDF file is an excellent source for learning FormCalc to create calcualtion scripts in Designer.

You can also find help in other sample files that are installed with Designer and many solutions on Adob'e Web site. Check out the menu commands in the Help menu in Designer and select the Adobe on the Web command to browser the Designer web pages.
