Positioning a dialog on the screen

Is it possible to code a dialog box so that it appears in a certain area of the screen.

I've created a specific search dialog for our indexed PDF library but at present it pops up in the middle of the screen. I would like, if possible, for it to appear on the lefthand side just as the built in search dialog does.

Any advice/help would be gratefully received.

Unfortunately, No. No parameters are provided for controlling the screen position of a dialog:( And as far as I know there is no indirect way of controlling position beyond reusing a dialog object that has already been place by hand.
