Is there any way to set the printing option to "print as image" via JavaScript for a form. Long story short I developed a form in Acrobat Pro. The people at my company who use the form currently use Adobe Reader 8.1.2. Whenever they attempt to print my form they get the "Unable to start print job. Is printer available?" message. The only workaround I have found is to print the pdf using the advanced option under Adobe reader with the "print to image" option selected.

It would be nice if I could embed this setting into the pdf so that the users do not need to set this option every time they want to print.

I was able to solve the issue without any java code. It was very odd, but for some reason changing the font (from Arial to Tahoma) on the form resolved the error.
