Set it's value to whatever you've specified as the Button Value for a particular radio button, or "Off" if you want none in the group selected.

I am assuming that the Button Value is the same as the Radio Button Choice?

In Acrobat the 'export value' of a check box or radio button is the value of the specific check box or radio button (widget) when checked. If there are same named check boxes or same named radio buttons with the same 'export value', then all check boxes or radio button with the same name and 'export value' will be checked when one of that set is checked when any one is selected. If none of the check boxes or radio buttons is selected, then the value in JavaScript is the string'Off'.

ok, I understand that part.
Now, where do I go in the document or properties to set the 'export value'?
I cannot find where to go to set 'export value' or 'Button Value' for Radio Buttons.
I am assuming it is the 'Radio Button Choice' in the properties of the radio button.

Secondly, How do I turn the export value to '0' if another radio buttton is selected?
I have several buttons in a group, all with different 'export values' going to different fields.
I want the export value of the selected radio button to show in it's field and the others to show '0'.

I am new to acrobat, and am just learning to navigate through the software and getting to know where everything is.
There are a few things that I am having difficulty figuring out.

With an Acrobat form, not LiveCycle Designer, you need to be in the form edit mode or showing the field navigation page. Select the field you want to edit with your mouse, use the right mouse click to bring up the context menu and select the 'properties' option from the context menu option. Now select the 'Options' tab in the popup window and you have the options to select the check box or button 'style' option you can change and the 'export value' you can enter the value for the check box or radio button.

The options tab for the 'Radio Buttons' is a bit different than the other fields.
The option here is called 'Radio Button Choice'.
Is this the "export value' for the radio button?

Yes, that's the correct property.

It would be nice if they didn't feel the need to constantly change it. It started out as the "Export Value", then became the "Button Value", and is now called the "Radio Button Choice". For the check box, it's always been the "Export Value".

Thank you, George.

I agree.
I thought that was true, but I am not familiar with the previous versions.

Thanks Again!
