We just upgraded to Acrobat 9. We have several interactive forms that collect signatures from multiple people.

The problem is I am receiving a security error when one of the scripts are trying to execute. It won't removeField after the document has been signed it throws an "NotAllowedError: Security settings prevent access to this property or method. Doc.removeField:"

Is there a way around this. We have several hundred form in production that use this script.

Please advise.

Do the files have form rights enabled?

Since I'm not sure what that is my answer would have to be no. How do I check that?

Press Ctrl+D. Look under the Security tab.

It states that there is No Security, however beside changing the document it says not allowed. I believe this is because it is signed.

This was not a problem in Acrobat 8 this must be something in Acrobat 9.
