Searching deadlinks and incorrect hyperlinks in Acrobat 7 or 8 Pro

I need to know how to search for dead hyperlinks/cross-references in Acrobat 7 or 8 Pro.

I'm amazed that such a feature hasn't been implemented and the pricing for plug-ins like Aerialist are so expensive and impractical if you only want to make sure that all your hyperlinks in the document are correct.

Can't justify spending over $3K for 10 licenses of Aerialist.

Thank you!

It's a built-in feature for Acrobat 7 Professional and later. Check your manual/help for details.

Hi Leonard. Been searching high and low since ver6, can you point me to a more specific source? Thank you for your assistance.

Check out the PDF Optimizer (Advanced --> PDF Optimizer) under the Clean Up panel.

The clean up panel doesn't let you "find" the broken links - it just removes them. Is there no way to find broken links?
