'Simple'(?) popUpMenuEx in Acrobat 9 form

Just trying to create a simple, reusable (done as a function...) popUpMenuEx script I can attach to the Mouse up action of a text field. The drop down will have 3 options - "Unavailable", "Trained", and "Untrained" with cReturns of "-","0", and "5", respectively. The popup seems to work fine, but I can never get the "-" or number values to show in the text field. Blank every time! I want these values to be the final event.value for the field.
