Snapshot window size

Is there a way to predefine snapshot window size and save these other than creating a "batch" or "script" file? I need to make a window of one size repeatedly from an 11 x 17 original PDF (8.5 x 11 left and right pdf's would be the resultant operation). Thank You!

No, but this would be a great feature.

I found a solution, it's not pretty but it's quick: While in Snapshot Mode, CROP the document to Left and Right Coordinates, click inside the image on the screen, the Snapshot is active on the clipboard, then Print to Adobe PDF and there's the half. The trick is to overlap the intended cropping fields for left/right so that "Eight and a Half" is directly in the middle of the resulting split. An important point is: don't SAVE the file in the cropped mode or your boss and coworkers will do mean things to you.
