Can anyone confirm for me that the only way to enable the spawning of Template pages in Reader is by enabling rights with LiveCycle Reader Extensions, ie NOT with Acrobat?
 
If that's the case, I find the reference files very confusing (on purpose?) regarding this point. To state only that it "Requires forms rights", without stating which rights they refer to, is very misleading, to say the least.

Yes, that's right. There is a specific right that controls template spawning and Acrobat is not able to apply it.

I find it odd that Adobe allows dynamic XFA forms to work with Reader with no additional usage rights but not allow template spawning with Reader without this special usage right.
