Visio to PDF creation

I have developed a basic VBA project in Visio 2003 that I require one more feature for. I want to offer users a seamless "Publish" process which takes the currently open Visio drawing, converts to PDF (and preserves hyperlinks), saves to the local temp directory, then 'copies' this PDF file to their (user-specified) SharePoint/WSS site.

The only way I can make Acrobat preserve hyperlinks when creating a PDF is to use the PDFMaker toolbar menu commands. I cannot automate this (or I don't know how) from VBA. Is there another way?

Printing via Visio's File > Print... function and sending it to the Adobe PDF printer driver does not preserve hyperlinks, or I don't know how to make it do that.

Can you help me?

Thanks for any help!

All automation within Visio is an issue with Visio and not Acrobat. You need to use the PDF Maker in Visio in order to preserve hyperlinks. Combining files or printing to the Adobe PDF Printer won't do it.

Thanks Ted for replying.

From what I can gather I can't automate the PDFMaker add-in from within Visio 2003, is this your understanding?
