Hello,
I am trying to make a menu for my forms to make it easier for employees to use. I use Acrobat to create the form, once complete, I extend Acrobat form "rights" so that the form may finally be used by "END-USER" using Adobe Reader platform. So again, form is developed using Acrobat and end-user will use form using Adobe Reader.
The form has a "Forms Options Menu" developed using Java Script, it is a fly-out menu allowing Adobe Reader end-users to modify the form header (business name, business address, etc) and also allows for other menu options such as "flatten form", "flatten & email form", etc.
Here is screen shot of existing forms options menu so you get a general idea:

and here is sample code so that you can determine if you are able to do work in productive manner:

This menu is developed using Java Script for ACROBAT and we are looking for JS developer to assist us in elaborating menu and adding more features to menu.
Right now, we NEED to concentrate on the two "flatten" form options found on the menu system, so that when the end-user clicks the "Make Form Read-Only" or the "Make Form Read Only and E-mail" menu option, it will FIRST hide a few acrobat buttons (4-5) we have placed elsewhere on the form page.
We would like to hear from you, your experience with Java Script and if you fully understand project needs and if you have knowledge to work on such project. You should be professional and work in business-like manner and interested in long term business relationship leading to mutual benefit. (If you are a programmer looking to resolve your OWN financial problems without regard to customer's need, move on, we are in need of an enthusiastic, detail-minded, professional individual —regardless cost.)
Please look at acreen shots that I've placed of menu system and sample code to be sure that your experience is up to the job before responding.
Thank you for your time and look forward to hearing from you. Please respond by private e-mail.
Regards,
As I see that no one appears to have answered your post, I was wondering if by chance you have as yet found someone to help you with your 'Form Options Menu'. If not, I would be very much interested in taking a look at the PDF form containing your menu. Presently, I specialize in the design/development of javascript enhanced Acrobat PDF forms for Acrobat 6 and higher, and am well versed when it comes to creating menus inside Acrobat PDF forms that rely upon javascript. BTW, there are essentially (2) ways to script a menu using JS, both of which I am familiar with. If your menu consists of a lot of sub-menu items, I can also show you some tricks using arrays and if/else statements.
I apologize but I did not readily see a private e-mail address to respond to, hence the post. My e-mail address is: gomfp49 [at] gmail [dot] comThank you.
