Access to PDF, how to format access report index to be links in pdf

I have a report that's generated in Access 2007. The front page contains an index for the subsequent pages (i.e., Item 1 Blah Blah Blah....Page 3; Item 2, Blah Blah Blah....Page 6).

The whole report is converted to a PDF and emailed.

I'd like each line on the index page to act as a link to the appropriate page in the PDF without having to go through and manually create those links within Adobe. I don't want the items to be formatted at a hyperlink, I need them to retain the format generated in Access.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

For anything other than just page content (where you'd use print & select the Adobe PDF "printer") you would have to run the Access report content through Adobe's PDFMaker.
For Access 2007, PDFMaker has no "convert links" as there is for MS Word.

Perhaps you could export the Access report(s) to MS Word and develop your links in Word?
Simple Office Hyperlinks, within a Word file, are processed out to PDF (via a properly configured Adobe PDFMaker).

Yeah, sadly, that's more complex than the end users are up to. I was afraid there wouldn't be an option.

Thank you for responding!
