We have several pdf files in version 6. When people update their reader to 7 they can't read the version 6 files. Do I need to update all my pdf files so they can be read by version 7 or 8.

Acrobat/Reader is 100% backwards compatible enabling reading files all the way back to 1.0.

What sort of error message do you get when you try to read these files?
