I have Adobe Acrobat5.0
I would simply like to know if its possible to set only PART of the document I create [MS Word2000] with security measures?
I want end users to be able to add their own text only to one small section of the PDF document. The rest I want protected against cut/copy/paste/editing. BUT users still need to be able to print it with my original set specs.
Is this possible [with version 5 or higher]?
If not, what do I upgrade to or use?
[ps-I've literally spent hours reading through docs and FAQ's on the Adobe site to no avail. Only found that I should download LiveCycle as a trial, but at 2GB's, its too big for the hard drive. It cant be this hard, can it?]
However, if you want to create an area (form field) that allows users to input information while viewing your PDF in Adobe Reader, you'll probably want to investigate Acrobat 8 Pro. This versions allow you to Reader-enable forms, which means users with Reader can save the PDF with the form field data.
