I have Acrobat Pro 9 installed on a Windows XP computer. I am using Acrobat to create a PDF document from a ScanJet 5590 sheet-feed scanner. I have all the settings on the HP set to scan one side. I've configured the presets on Pro 9 to scan front sides, however, when I scan a document through the sheet feeder, it always scans duplex. I'm using the Native scanning mode.
How do I get Pro 9 to only scan one side of a document?
I don't think this is a Acrobat problem, because the scanner is controlled by the twain-driver, not Acrobat.
I had a look on the HP forums, there are several threads about problems with duplex scanning on ScanJet 5590.
