Converting Word Document with images to PDF some images turn to black boxes, not all the images, some. Help!

Acrobat Pro 9.0, Windows

workaround: start with an image file (jpg, gif, etc) or save an image (from word doc) to file. convert the image to pdf (rt click > convert to pdf). use edit > select all > copy. bring up the target pdf (the one with the black boxes). paste the copied image to the target pdf. resize to taste and position with touchup object tool. with touchup object tool you can also delete the black boxes.

This fix does not help me. 1. It is way to confusing for a novice to figure out. 2. If I go about converting the pics it messes up the layout.

Is there not another solution. This software is going to be a huge problem if it continues to do this. I rely on this software for work and school.

Hi The Teacher,

Try this- go to Edit ->Preferences ->General, select Page Display in the left panel- check the box next to Show large Images.Hope this helps,
