Creating bookmarks from Excel tab names

I have Excel 2007 and Adobe acrobat 8.0 professional. Vista OS.

I have no problem creating PDF from multiple PDFs to create one book and the indiv file names create the bookmarks. However, I cannot seem to print from one Excel workbook with, say, 10 named tabs and have a bookmark automatically created for each tab name. I searched through the forum and find references to "tagged files" but don't see how I do that.

Is this possible?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.2, Windows

Printing from Excel (or any other application) will never generate bookmarks. Try use the the Create PDF button in the Adobe PDF ribbon in Excel 2007.

Thanks for the reply.

I installed Excel 07 after Acrobat 8 Pro. There is an acrobat ribbon but nothing is on it. How do I activate or intall it?

The excel options show that the "Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM addin" is listed. It points to :
c:\program Files\adobe\adobe 8.0\PDFmaker\Office\PDFMOfficeAddin.dll

Why would nothing show up if it is pointed correctly?

This would be considered a new post and should have been posted as a new post.

Try Repair for Acrobat or reinstall and select the option to install PDF Maker.

my version is 8.1.3, the latest version.

I am going to uninstall Acrobat and reinstall it to see if that works. While it is onthe ribbon of Word and Excel, there are two blank sections with no icons. Maybe this will fix it.

I'll let you know.
