how to review and edit OCR in Acrobat Pro 7?

Greetings --

Recently, I have been scanning some documents directly to searchable-image PDFs. This format is great, as it allows me to see the original image, hand notes, etc). I saw an earlier related question and answer (by tim plumer -- thanks!) but here is my query: Is there a way I can see and correct the OCR behind the pdf image as a whole? I've had troubles working with the touch-up tool -- I can't seem to get it to work consistently, and I'm also working blind (can't see what I'm inputting).
I've confirmed that there are conversion errors that didn't show up as "suspects" and I need to be able to fix them.

Thanks in advance.

Hi wpong,

You can use the Document > Examine Document to open the Examine Document dialog box. In a scanned file, you can see Hidden text in the dialog box. Click Preview to open the display to review the OCR process. Also, you can use the Content View Navigation Pane to view and edit the text with Touch Up Tool.

Hope this helps,
Lori
