Embedding Images into PDF to open up as Pop-Ups

I'm creating a User Guide and need to embed images into a PDF as so that when a thumbnail is clicked on, the full image opens up as a pop-up.

The Guide has to be standalone (the images can't be stored or accessed on a sever) as it will be emailed out to many people who will not have access to it.

Anyone help?

You can place the larger image as a button form element with the image as an icon. Then, make the smaller image another button with an action to show/hide field and show/hide the larger image button property. Make the larger image button read only.
