Aim: to convert a batch of word documents and maintain the embeded word hyperlinks that refer http and file locations.
Effectively the word/policy documents refer to appedicies and other polices.
Issue:cannot determine how to select 'enable advanced tagging' when using the acrobat pro 9 advanced, document processing, batch processing.
Testing: Have been able to successfully convert word documents to pdf directly from word, provided 'change conversion settings' under the word adobe pdf menu, then the word tab then select 'enable advanced tagging'.
If anyone could suggest a method to achieve the above aim I would be most grateful.

Edit > Preferences > select Category "Convert to PDF" > select Microsoft Office Word
Click Edit Settings button.
While the "Adobe PDF Settings" lets you select the Distiller job option you've set up the three check boxes below it may be helpful.
(Add bookmarks for Adobe PDF file | Add links to Adobe PDF file | Enable accessibility and reflow).
Try the Batch Sequence with the appropriate item selected to see what happens with the MS Word links.
