We have a Citrix Server that multiple users utilize for their applications. They log on to the Desktop of the Citrix Server. They do not launch specific single applications. All applications are used from the Desktop. The server is Windows 2003 R2 Standard with Service Pack 2 installed. Only Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard 9.1.3 is installed. Adobe Reader is not installed.

We use a document management system called DocSTAR. From within the application there is functionality to send a PDF to email. When you click on the appropriate button to perform the task it creates the PDF, automatically opens Outlook and attaches the PDF to the email. This works for about half of the employees. The other half get the error below during the PDF creation:

Error: -2147417851
Source: OutputtoPDF:IDestFileType_FinishDOC
Description: Method ‘~’ of object ‘~’ failed

Has anyone seen this error before? Any idea how to resolve the issue?
