Excel Error when converting to PDF file

I have a user that uses Adobe 8 Standard. She tries to convert an excel spreadsheet with multiple sheets in the document into a PDF file. This is her normal process for this particular excel file. In Excel, she goes File/Print > then selects Adobe PDF and print, a process she has followed successfully with this same document many times before. This time, it returns an error referring to the print setup not properly configured, not enough memory etc. We tried converting normal word files and it returns similar error. Basically it seems like the PDF feature is stopped working. Please can you assist with this issue?
