Heavy lines

I am trying to reduce the heaviness of the lines and text when plotting a file to pdf from AutoCad. The lines in AutoCad are set as thin as I can and print that way from AutCad, then when I plot to a pdf file they thicken up. Other cad files saved as pdf's that were done elsewhere seem to print out with thiner lines.

My Product Information:
Reader 7.0.8, Windows

What steps did you use to create the PDF from AutoCAD? What version of Acrobat are you using to create the PDF?

I plotted a file from AutoCAD and chose pdf file instead of the printer. I brought the file up and printed it from Adobe Reader 8.0.

Try using the Create PDF icon (PDFMaker macro) in AutoCad instead of printing to PDF. You can adjust various settings with the PDFMaker macro as well.
