PDFMaker error: "You have selected an invalid conversion job option. Please select a valid Job Option before running Acrobat PDFMaker." What causes this error? I found that just changing the conversion settings to something else fixes it, but would like to know what causes the problem. This can happen on one workstation and not on another with installs being exactly the same.
You answered the question yourself in that choosing a different conversion setting does the trick.
Can you replicate the error? If so, check to see what default has been specified. If Acrobat stores the .joboptions files locally, the workstations where you find the error have an invalid file in their listings. You can replace the invalid file manually. The PC storage location for the .joboptions files is at C:\Documents and SEttings\[user]\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe PDF.
