MISSING PDF MAKER ERROR

I bought Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Pro and installed, activated and all... and what I got when I wanted to create pdf is MISSING PDFMAKER... which was really annoying since now I can't use it for anything... and naturally repairing installation didn't repair anything.
ANYONE PLEASE HELP, any ideas? Tnx much

Are you using Vista and or Office 2007? If so, the PDFMaker won't show up without running the 8.1 patch now available as a free download on Adobe's Web site. Be sure to upgrade to 8.1 and then see if the PDFMaker shows up.

Hi cyberblaze,

Sounds as though your PDFmaker macro is in the disabled list in Office. To remove it from the list you can do the following:
Open the Microsoft Office program.
Go to Help > About [program name].
Click Disabled Items.
Select Adobe PDF from the list and click Enable.
Quit the Microsoft Office program and then restart it.
