Missing PDFMaker files

When I try to create a PDF document from a Word 2003 document, I get a "Create Adobe PDF" box that says "Missing PDFMaker files. Do you want to run the installer in repair mode?"

In some cases, Acrobat will create the document, and in others I get this box.

In those cases where the PDF document is not created, I've tried clicking "Yes" but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Michael,
The KB TechNote, while identified for earlier Acrobat products, may still be useful.

"Troubleshoot problems with Acrobat PDFMaker (6.0-7.0, Acrobat 3D on Windows)"
