Page Deletion Automation

I am in the process of deleting pages from multiple PDFs and replacing them with new pages. I am looking for a way to automate this process or record a macro to do this. My process is to open the PDF, delete pages 6 through 10, and then replace them with another PDF after page 5. Sorry if this is a repost, I had not validated my login prior to submitting my question the first time.

Hi jspencer,

It may be possible to do this through the Batch Processing (Document Processing --> Batch Processing) function in Acrobat Pro; however, there would need to be some consistency to your process. In the Batch Processing command both delete pages and insert pages are sequence options.Another alternative might be to use the thumbnail nagivation pane to delete/insert pages -- this can save a lot of time. You can also drag and drop thumbnails between open documents.

Hope this helps,
Lori
