PDF file nevers appears after distilling

I am using Adobe Distiller 5.0 on a Mac OS X. After I create the PDF it says it is saved but I go to the location where it says it's saved and it's there. Anyone know what's happening?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 5.x or older, Macintosh

You stated that "You go to the location where it says it's saved and its there." That means the PDF was created and all you need to do is double/single click the file and it should open in Acrobat or Reader. Note: Make sure the .pdf extension is associated with Acrobat or Reader.

Oops. I meant it's "not there." Haha... nice typo on my part. I know how to open it and everything, the PDF file just never appears. The postscript or eps is there. I tried pdfing it from either of those and it never appears.
