Photoshop Can't Open PDF

Running Photoshop 7 Windows. I always can open PDF's created on machine.

Installed Acrobat 9 Pro Extended

Now all of the PDF's that I write (except from PageMaker 7) can't be opened by Photoshop 7 (Windows). Also exported the new PDF's to a Mac and it they won't open in Photoshop 7 (Mac). They open fine with Reader, but not through Photoshop.

I get an error message in Photoshop when trying to open the PDF files:

"There was an error processing the document. The file may be damaged or corrupted."

I need to make images of PDF's.

Everyone else's PDF's on my network work fine (I am the only Acropbat 9 user).

Any help? Setting changes in Distiller? Etc???

Don't know your answer but reading that you need the PDF as an image why not use the save as option in Acrobat Pro to create a tif or jpg?
