Good morning, I have a company logo, copied from a PNG file, and pasted it into a Word document. When I pdf the Word doc, the logo comes out fuzzy. I've tried changing the resolution to the highest and/or Press Quality on Printer Properties but it's still fuzzy.

I'm using Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.0 and Word 2010. Thanks very much for your advice.

p.s. I searched for this topic and found a post but when I click on the link it won't take me to the post!

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 9.0, Windows

I've had the same problem, I had to recreate the image at 300 dpi to resolve it.

Word 2010 is not supported by Acrobat 9, so you must be using Distiller (printing the document rather than exporting it). Word has always had difficulty with printing certain types of graphic object, and it's often the case that a PNG image prints poorly, but the same resolution graphic placed from a GIF or JPEG prints perfectly.

So why doesn't Adobe fix this so it is compatable?
