Pop-up images in PDF?

I'm looking for a way to integrate large images in an ebook PDF (not meant for print).

Ideally, the user would click the image thumbnail and the full-sized image would pop up. Is this possible? If not, what could achieve the same effect?

Download this example. Save it with a different file name in case you need to correct a mistake with the Javascripts.
Examine the codes and modify as needed.
