Printing to Acrobat 8 after Leopard Install - As in NOT printing to...

After install, the printer drivers for acrobat were missing. Can't seem to find an answer to get them back. Since printing to Acrobat creates a smaller file than saving as PDf, I use this frequently to print and email proofs. How do I get the driver back?

I have tried to reinstall Acrobat, but no joy.

If you haven't already seen it, have a look at the Adobe FAQ on
Leopard. It says there will be updates to Acrobat 8.1.2 and Reader
8.1.2 available in late January 2008, which are required for full
compatibility with Mac OS X 10.5.

Thanks for the info, and no, we've been slammed with work and I haven't done much more than problem solve. I can still open Adobe and save (8.0 has a million export options), but the main issue is the size of the file. Even saving optimized doesn't dumb down the file in size like using PDF as PRINTER. Any hints on getting these art files to email-able sizes for sending proofs while we wait for Jan?

You can create PDF settings for Mac-OS-PDF-Services as same as you can for AdobePDF/Distiller with Joboptions, it's a "Quartz-filter".

Just find the "ColorSync Utility" app in your "Applications > Utilities" folder and use the "Quartz filter" panel to create your own.You can freely download some settings from my web site, but the Read-me file is in French langage (like the "Download" button => "Télécharger")...
Just extract .qfilter files and put them into "Library > PDF Services", they are made for Mac OSX.4>>> http://abracadabrapdf.net/articles.php?lng=en&pg=337;-)
