We at the office are using Abode Acrobe 8 Porfessional. We have a problem with converting some of our MS Excel files into PDF format. Our Excel files usually consists of several sheets. When we convert to pdf, Acrobat comes up with the following error:
"Acrobat PDFMaker cannot create Tags for worksheets with Print Area set. Clear the 'Print area' field in Page setup to get this feature.
Do you want to proceed and create a PDF file without Tags?"
We have already cleared the Print Area, but Acrobat still insists on only convertineg the 3rd last worksheet in the file into pdf format, and ignores all the others.
Has anyone else had this problem? I would appreciate your help.
Anna
Have you tried this?
With the Excel file open, click on Adobe PDF up on the command menu bar.
Then select Change Conversion Settings from the dropdown.
In the Acrobat PDFMaker dialog, under the Settings tab select/check "Prompt for selecting Excel Sheets"
This is located in the Application Settings pane.
Hopefully this will take care of the issue.
With this setting selected I was able to select three of several work sheets from an Excel file and output these to PDF.
Be well...
