There is a manual that we maintain (in word) that only one user can PDF with success. When anyone else tries (does not matter what version they are using), the page breaks get messed up (the document is not password protected). The individual is currently using Acrobat 6.0 and management has not allowed the individual to upgrade out of fear that the manual will not be able to be PDF'd correctly. Now that we are moving to 8.1 it would be nice to have everyone on the same version. Can you think of any reason why we are having problems converting to PDF documents? Any solutions?

Contact the one user who has sucessfully opened your doc and find out what version of Reader he/she is using and their preference settings.
